TUTORIAL PROCEDURES

This
sheet will be due every Friday to the Head Coach.

Each
teacher will have a sign-in sheet in their room. The student will need
to make sure to sign in and get their own tutorial sheet signed by the
teacher. A teacher that is not on the Required Athletic Tutorial
list will not have a sign-in sheet, so it is very important that the athlete
get a signature from the teacher providing the tutorials.

Students who have failed the six weeks will attend the Required Athletic
Tutorial twice a week until progress report grades are released.
If the student is not passing ALL classes, they will need to
attend tutorials for the subject they are failing.

Students who have a 72 or below at the six weeks will need to attend
tutorials with their regular teachers until they bring their grade up to an
80 or above. Students who have a 1st and 8th period class can attend
the Required Athletic Tutorials already set for Tuesdays and
Thursdays if they can not get in with their regular teacher. Students
will need to take their tutorial sheet and get the teacher's signature to
confirm attendance. The tutorial sheet will be due to you every
Friday.

Consequences set in place by the Head Coach will need to be enforced for
those students that do not meet the requirements of attending tutorials
twice a week. The level of the consequence will reset every six weeks.
We must hold our athletes accountable to the policy. In season as
well as of season!

Please advise your athletes they are required to stay in the tutorials, not
just get a signature and leave. We have instructed our tutorial
teachers to e-mail us if this occurs. Doing so will count as skipping
a tutorial and require a consequence.
